After eight months of construction and a $2.4 million investment, Brisbane Cricket centre's new Indoor Net Complex officially opened its doors on 22 March 2025. The six-lane facility sets a new benchmark for player development infrastructure in Queensland.

Technology at the Core
The facility integrates Hawkeye ball-tracking cameras in every lane, giving coaches instant data on ball speed, seam position, line, and length. Each session is recorded from three angles and uploaded automatically to the player's BCC dashboard.
- 6 lanes — 3 pace, 2 spin-specific (low-bounce turf), 1 multi-format
- Automated Bola Pro bowling machines with remote speed control
- Hawkeye ball-tracking (speed, seam, trajectory) in all lanes
- 4K broadcast lighting — 2,400 lux, zero flicker for slow-motion capture
- Climate-controlled environment (22°C year-round)
- Dedicated video review pods adjacent to each lane
The spin lanes replicate the low, skiddy bounce of WACA and SCG drop-in pitches — a first for any private facility in Queensland.
Booking & Access
Individual lane hire is available from $45/hour with a BCC membership, or $70/hour casual. Academy members have priority booking for the first two months. Corporate team bookings and school group rates are available on request.
What Players Are Saying
"I batted in Lane 3 on opening day and the ball-tracking data changed everything. Within 20 minutes Coach could see I was falling across my stumps — something we'd been trying to diagnose for weeks."
The complex is open Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 10:00 pm and weekends 8:00 am – 8:00 pm. Book online via the BCC member portal or call +61 7 0000 0000.
